Lecture by Elio Franzini, Professor of Aesthetics at the University of Milan.

Franzini, co-author with Federico Vercellone of the book Tribalismi, takes up some of the themes raised by Luca Bertolo’s works in the exhibition, discussing the tribal expressions of modern and postmodern culture and reflecting on the role of the artist who, in the second half of the nineteenth century, through the development of dandyism, became a chronicler of metropolitan expressions and fashions, and who today is seeking new possibilities for engaging with the shifting aesthetic identities of the contemporary world. Luca Bertolo and Elena Volpato will also take part.
